Third-Party Services

Tours, transportation, wellness services, and other experiences may be provided by independent third parties.

We are happy to assist with recommendations and arrangements, but Kalimera Beach Hotel is not responsible for the service, availability, safety, pricing, or performance of third-party providers.

Accessibility

Kalimera Beach Hotel is committed to providing clear accessibility information before booking.

Our beachfront location includes sand, uneven terrain, steps, pathways, and natural outdoor spaces that may create challenges for guests with mobility, sensory, medical, or other access needs. For this reason, we do not describe the property as fully accessible.

We may be able to accommodate some accessibility needs depending on the guest’s requirements and the room requested.

Before booking, guests are encouraged to contact us so we can provide honest information about room access, pathways, steps, bathrooms, dining areas, beach access, transportation, and available support.

We will always do our best to recommend the most suitable option while preserving the natural character of our beachfront setting.

Green Tourism & Sustainability

At Kalimera Beach Hotel, sustainability is part of our daily operations and guest experience.

Plastic-Free Property

We avoid single-use plastics and choose reusable, refillable, and lower-waste alternatives wherever practical.

Housekeeping Upon Request

Housekeeping is available upon request to reduce unnecessary water use, laundry, energy consumption, and cleaning products.

Smart Energy Use

We use smart air-conditioning controls and smart lighting systems to reduce unnecessary electricity use.

Local Belizean Partners

We support Belizean farmers, artists, artisans, guides, transportation providers, food suppliers, and small businesses.

Local Craftsmanship

Our rooms include locally made banana-fibre furniture and lighting, handmade artwork, and locally sourced handmade soap made from local plants without harsh chemicals.

Responsible Guest Experience

Guests are encouraged to conserve water and energy, keep the beach clean, avoid leaving waste in the sea, respect wildlife, avoid touching coral, and follow local guide instructions during tours.

Community Support

We support local schools, youth sport, community projects, environmental clean-ups, wildlife conservation, and local producers.

Privacy

Guest information is used only for reservation management, payment processing, guest communication, security, and personalised service.

Information will only be shared where necessary to fulfil a booking, provide requested services, comply with legal obligations, or protect safety.

Liability & Disputes

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and are encouraged to secure valuables.

Kalimera Beach Hotel is not liable for injury, loss, theft, or damage except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Any unresolved disputes are governed by the laws of Belize and subject to Belizean courts.

Ethical Purchasing

We use a supplier screening process to help ensure the products and services we purchase are ethically sourced, fairly traded, and aligned with our values. We regularly purchase Fair Trade and ethically labelled products, including Fair Trade certified coffee from Belize and neighbouring countries. We expect our suppliers, contractors, and service providers to demonstrate fair treatment of workers, responsible sourcing, and respect for local communities and the environment.
