We recently discovered our very first sea turtle nest right here on our beach. π’π
Turtles return to beaches all along the Placencia Peninsula to lay their eggs, and until the next full moon we’ll have the privilege of being temporary guardians of this little nest.
It’s a wonderful reminder that when you stay in a place like Belize, you’re sharing it with some truly remarkable wildlife.
If you’ve ever read one of our guest reviews, you’ve probably come across Elvis’ Nameπ΄πΉ
A true guest favorite, Elvis is known for his incredible local knowledge, warm hospitality, and some of the best cocktails on the beach.
So if you needed just one more reason to visit paradise, add Elvis’s cocktails to your Belize bucket list. We promise they’re worth the trip. πΈ
Room 12 is easily one of our guests’ favorite rooms. Tucked away for the perfect escape, it has everything you need for an effortless vacation: beachfront views, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, Smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, breakfast included, and immaculate vibes throughout. π΄

At Kalimera Beach Hotel, we lovingly protect the tiny seaweed forest just in front of our shore. It may not look like much at first glance, but this little patch plays a big role helping prevent beach erosion and offering a safe haven for marine life.
Living in symbiosis with nature is part of who we are. While you’ll find clear, sandy swimming areas on both sides of the patch, we encourage you to snorkel around our seaweed forest. It’s full of surprises colorful fish, shy crabs, and curious birds all call it home.
It’s our way of sharing the beach, not just with guests, but with the many creatures who make this coast so special.
It’s almost like the whole point was to be at one with nature πΊ
Featuring one of our friendly neighborhood Agouti
Did you know Agouti are native to Belize?
Gentle, secretive creatures of the jungle, like nature’s little gardeners, quietly helping the jungle grow. Keep your eyes open, they’re closer than you think.
